Message from the Past President
My name is Carol Grothem, Past President of American Women in Radio & Television, Minnesota Chapter. I would like to give you a brief summary of what AWRT-MN is, and what we offer.
What is AWRT-MN? We are the Minnesota chapter of American Women in Radio & Television (AWRT).
The mission of AWRT is to advance the impact of women in the electronic media and allied fields by educating, advocating and acting as a resource to our members and the industry.
Advantages of being a AWRT-MN member:
1. Networking Opportunities - We provide a professional and personal support network for our industry colleagues.
2. Educational Seminars – We invite national and local industry leaders to give us their insights on media trends. Members receive a reduced cost at those events.
